As to mass deaths occurring worldwide involving animals, get over it--living things DO die in large masses. fireworks have already became louder and louder each year. kabantay mo sauna nga ang triangle sauna gagmay pa kaayo? pero karon, pwerte nang dagkoa. try lang mo paduol og pabuto as it blows off dba makafeel mo og murag shockwave sa inyo lawas. this may have caused the death of those birds.

No, the firecrackers/fireworks themselves are not the cause of blunt-force trauma--the birds got frightened and collided with buildings. Remember, it was night when it occurred, and birds are NOT bats--they have difficulty in navigating at night.
