Default Working in Malaysia - Experiences and Tips

OT:Mods if this is already a double post pls merge this topic na lang. I've tried searching this topic pero wla ko nakita.

Fellow istoryans, if you have worked before, still working, or plans to work at Malaysia pls give us your experiences of working at Malaysia. Tips of how to land a decent job there would also be appreciated.

(thanks to 0kimangel0 for creating the thread for SG, i just did a copy&paste, but this one is for Malaysia)

Nice start for this thread TS considering Malaysia and Singapore are just close neighbors. Also, the nearest post in Malaysia from Singapore is Johor Baru.

Working here in Johor for 3 years now. So far ok ra man diri but depende sa company kay some company kay gamay sweldo.
Though gamay ang sweldo diri compare sa Singapore but most company here offer free house and transpo.Cost of living is almost same ra sa cebu, house rental is cheap,3 room house kay RM450-550 diri sa location namo, electricity, water and petrol also mas barato compare diha cebu, alcohol and cigarette ra mahal diri.
All pinoy here was hired thru agency, dili man sila mu-hire direct kay hassle man daw nila sa visa application kung direct hiring.
