    Default Guinea Fowls

Guinea fowls are interesting birds to breed. They can be used for eggs, or as food as they can be cooked for any chicken-related recipe. These attractive birds can serve as excellent pets to have in your place. Indeed, guinea fowls can be a good addition to any bird lovers collection or to anyone who wants try something new to breed.

For Sale: Guinea Fowls (14 12 fowls)
    Price: Php. 1,200.00 per pair
Contact Nos.: 272-3983/273-3990 Look for Boyax or Boy, Adam, or JikJik

    Benefits of breeding guinea fowls:

    • These birds are a great 'watch dogs'. Although these birds are quiet most of the time, they make cackling sounds when something alerts them.
    • They are excellent bug killers. Guinea fowls won't harm any flowers but instead protect them from insects. While chickens may tend to scratch and tear up plants, guineas move about a garden without touching a single leaf while picking off grasshoppers and other critters.
    • They are excellent food for consumption. Despite their eggs being half the size of chiken eggs, their eggs have a more flavorsome and sweeter taste than chicken eggs. Their meat is excellent too with low on calories and an exceptionally high 50/50 yield between meat and bone.
    • They are easy to raise. Their diet consists mainly of 90 percent bugs and weed seeds. They can be feed once or twice a day and adult guinea fowls need little care and will thrive on regular feeding daily.

These birds are raised in my father's backyard. They are healthy and in excellent condition. They lay eggs almost every other day. On the date of when these pictures were taken, a total of 7 eggs were found. Here are some pics:

excellent question sir eight, ang prominent feature sa male as compared to a female fowl kay mas dako ang wattle og helmet niya and then sa crackling sound kay one syllable siya like "CHI-CHi-Chi-chi..." whereas ang female two syllable siya like "buck-wheat,buck-wheat"
