Who named you or how did you get your name? What does it mean? Do you like it? If it was common practice to change names (as in your family/relatives would not disown you for doing so), what would your new name be?

i got my name from a famous brand but it came out i wuz a gurl so they changed it from christian to kris. i think you know the second name.

my mom named me after the miss universe winner in 1982.wa man koy reklamp sa ako name kay i like it man.
it means a:
* royal fortress meadow
* From the name of a city in South Africa which was originally named for Lord Kimberley, whose surname means "land belonging to CYNEBURGA" in Old English.

my father named me. my name is a combination of two words of endearment. not considering that, it also means 'village featuring a deer,' reminiscent of the Vikings. in Irish it means 'freeman.' by some strange coincidence i later acquired an Irish/Gaelic/Scottish family name which means either warrior, brown warrior, fortress, strong-headed, head or chief. my only complaint is that it is short, consisting of only three syllables including my last name.
if I'd have a new name it would be something that consists of many letters and something that sounds kind of old. like Luthienne or Deborah or Amarantha.
