Yes, it can be done. Most of the time, it has its SDK & necessary dll files that you can interface to. You have to look at the product and have search.

makaya raman na...naka suway naman ko ana before...
dapat naa jud kay scanner.
dapat you've got the access sa database.
kasagaran sa columns ana consist raman gurog 4 (eg...id,empid,dateandtime,status = I/O)
sa amoa concept pag kuha sa record ana is we look up sa pay schedule then ang date range sa payschedule mao rasad ang imong range diha as 'dateandtime' so all of the remaining dates ma eliminate nato...
then naa code mo kuha sa data ana. its and SQL script..
murag limpyohan pa nimo daan ba...murag nag normalize og table...

You should start with the OneTouchSDK...
Though it is not ready for handling databases...if you are capable of implementing interfaces you should be able to handle it.
OneTouchSDK can only be partnered with U.R.U Devices...try with the cheapest one.
So it provides sample code for VB, Java and a few other languages (kalimut ko sa other 2)

Naka program na ko ani sauna. DigitalPersona akong gamit. Thesis tong akong gibuhat sauna. Naa man SDK na pwd nimo magamit.
