During the unHoly Week celebration of the island beaches in Bantayan, bus and ferry trips goes 24hrs for the whole duration of the week. Fare cost usually would be double or triple fo the regular cost, ie. bus fare: from p50 regular fare all the way to p90-p120; ferryboat fare from p135 regular fare all the way to p160-p180 (+ p20 terminal tax).

Now there are two sides of the island, the party side and the vacation side (that being the west and east sides respectively of the sta.fe wharf). If you want to really save up, yet stay in a good secure place. Then camp up at the east side and party up at the west side. The east side rarely charges double or triple the regular rates during this particular week (although peak season rates apply). And use your feet to convey yourselves from one place to another to save up on your financial resources.

Or you could stay at the fishing villages about the island, they'll let you camp by their grounds or let you stay transient on their place for a very minimum fee (not to mention they have clean out-houses for use).

Just remember to pack away your garbage properly, don't litter.. Better yet, practice LNT...
