The Globe @home broadband service currently provides the following peak volume capacity depending on your plan:

For WiMax Postpaid 512 Kbps: 16 GB – 20 GB per account per month
For WiMax Postpaid 1 Mbps: 21 GB – 25 GB per account per month
For WiMax accounts with Speed Boost add-on or is installed starting on May 13, 2011:
For WiMax Postpaid 512 Kbps: 1 GB per account per day
For WiMax Postpaid 1 Mbps: 3 GB per account per day
For WiMax Postpaid 2 Mbps: 5 GB per account per day

For DSL accounts with Speed Boost add-on or is installed starting on November 11, 2011:

For DSL Postpaid 1 Mbps: 3 GB per account per day
For DSL Postpaid 2 Mbps: 5 GB per account per day
For DSL Postpaid 3 Mbps: 7 GB per account per day
For DSL Postpaid 5 Mbps: 10 GB per account per day

If a customer exceeds the peak capacity, the following may be experienced:

For WiMax Postpaid: their subscribed base plan speed will be reduced until end of month or day and will resume the following month or day if they availed Speed Boost add-on/s or a new WiMax plan starting on May 13, 2011.

For DSL subscribers: their subscribed base plan speed will be reduced until end day and will resume the following day if they availed Speed Boost add-on/s or a new DSL plan starting on November 11, 2011.

I really dont see any reason why one should sweeping general complaints regarding this FUP. All telcos are informing the subscribers of the plans based on the SUBSCRIBER'S INTERNET NEEDS.

So you subscribe based on your need and of course budget. It is similar to craving for the buffet of Spiral at Sofitel Manila where you should budget to about P4,000/adult for Sunday Brunch, and can cost as much as P6,000/head during special occasions. The budget is P2,000 for kids 5-11 years old. Since for some, the prices are outside their buffet budget even if it offers an extensive mouthwatering choices, then we settle to less than P500 buffet. Kaya if naa na budget for that, pwede na magsulay pod. Which is similar to Globe which offers every mid-Jan to March of new plans and offerings, it is your choice then to upgrade to a higher plan if your internet requirements are not sufficient anymore or you simply crave for more

naka try nako sa hulog2 nako plan 999 internet only upto 3mbps so far ok raman 3 ka lain na connection lain2 lugar buyad wala prob... kani kaha ilang Tattoo Platinum Home Broadband ok raba kaha ni para sa ako main... feedback plss.. thnx

ang ako masulti aning globe.. out of 10 nga ratings where 10 is the highest.. i'll give them 1. in-ana kabati ilang serbisyo for me.. <its bcoz of how slow they are on fixing our connection problem> 3days nga schedule mahimong one month..

murag dili man guro pwede pang business ang home broadband... i mean, murag dili mo sugot ang globe not unless dili nimo i declare... naa pud na mga business plans ang globe...

ok ang globe basta ok inyong lugar... siguroha lang nga bag-o ang mga cabinet sa globe sa inyong area, ok ra na... kung daan, aw goodluck! labi nag naa ka sa mga lugar nga uso ang kawat sa cable, aw paksit sige gyud ka disconnect ana...

atotz.. once a week mawala ang net nya nig abot sa technician ila ra i reset ang password.. tsk tsk..

Na boang na sd ang globe, sauna sige ka DC karon lain na ang problema kay nawagtang among net last feb. 18 tue, gi tawagan namo ang globe, ang reason kay network interruption daw, na unsa, pagka incompetent lang gyud, hantod karon la pa jd na balik among net, tsk3, carcar area. Using pldt net as of now.
