Canon 50D Phased out - Is it still worth buying?

Sulit ba japun mu palit ug 50D bisan phased out na sa leading stores like Gizmo?

IMO - I think its still worth buying for old bodies unless you get a good deal for new release bodies. For me dli ko modungan unsa ang release ron. Like for example if Nikon will release a new body i will try to get a good deal for the old version bodies. Kay mas cheaper man gud and bodies depreciate faster than lenses. Unless your into the photography business that quality and efficiency that newer technologies can provide I suggest go for it. But kung hobbyist ka pareha nako na doing this for fun lang get the bodies you can afford and invest more into lenses.

bottom line is if ka afford ka to get the newer bodies palit dayon.

hmmmm... w8 nalang sa canon 60d mo gawas kung ka afford ka go dayon... or kung dili ka afford, for sure mu ubos na ang price sa 50d look for a great deal for it but i read bad reviews and experiences sa 50d. mas maayo pa gani daw ang 40d... kung kaya jd ug utong ang budget pag 7d nalang... hehehehe

well kung for starters palang nga body... go with 500d or 450d.

unsa d-ay bad reviews nakuha nmo about 50D? sa ako na research kay wla man gud. like LCD is 920,000 just like the 7D and is using DIGIC IV same sd sa 7D.

thanks guys. actually the deal for the 50D na gihatag nako karon is very low na jud and below 50k cya..
mao naglibog ko coz tight sd ako budget and I need a new cam for some shoots this month. My current body is a 1000d with an L lens. (yep, I've invested on lens na..)

Pirme ni masango ang 50D sa noise handling pero as what others disputed ok man daw kuno ang noise reduction feature sa 50D naa lang loss detail but hardly matters if dili ka pixel peeper. Ang LCD dili malalis ky daghan ug colors. Brandnew 50D body for 48.5k noh?

yep... barato na noh? coz if ever gani ang 60D mugawas.. mahulog jd nig 55-60k which is outside the budget na kaau.

hehe. not necessarily bad reviews... murag 'chuvaness' lng to regarding noise sa 50D compared sa older model

okey nana oy.. just like sa Nikon dghan pa kaayo namalit ug D40 bisag nana ang D3000 hehehehe
and im sure dghan pa ug nagamit ug D40 nga happy karon dinhi.

Para lang nko 50D is not worth an upgrade. Hulat na lang sa lain model mogawas. Dili pod cguro na 60D ky wala pko kita ug 6x series sa Canon. Naay something sa 6 nga ila gi-skip basin 70D ang sunod hehehehe. Bitaw bro if dili na jud ka kahulat ky palita na lang na, then baligya later if pul-an naka sa 50D
