javascript - client side. and that's it. no more no less
Advanced JS, that would be leading to ajax, and other techno jargons.
How do we relate Basic and JS in this thread?

thats for me, since i have problems learning in Basic while i learn JS in short period of time..., i worked on AJAX/OOP/JSON.. i usually use JQuery, protocol and generic JS
@simoncpu
that's why i put question mark on on "JSP?", since i never worked on it, most developer copy existing JS codes and modifies it, yes i copy codes and modifies it sometimes because it is practical that way, sorry bro, i only tried "Java applet" at college but never worked on it, but i do worked on JS extensively coz most the project that im in is Web2.0 which uses JS OOP, im no expert nor claim that i am, i only an intermediate web developer, besides i never talk about Java just JS.... it is my personal opinion...

LOL
salbahis only asked if you meant JSP with your comment on the server-side JS below. You're arrogance is oh so annoying. How pathetic.
Anywayz, the OP only wanted to hear suggestions about JS.Naay server-side JavaScript since 1996, although weird siya in a bad way... mas ganahan ko sa PHP sa server-side...
@emc2jrbasic knowledge lang ko sa html gud using notepad...
easy ra ang java script?
Well bai, if you have no formal background/education about programming then it would be difficult. If you do have any, even the slightest, you can start at w3schools (W3Schools Online Web Tutorials). There you will find most of the basics that expert developers in this very forum used to play.
Hope that helps!

No, your friend does not know the difference. He suggested "JSP" and proceeded to assume that those who find JavaScript inconsistent kay "anad lang mo-kopya ug existing code". You all need to keep to yourself the conceit that stems from scant knowledge. Advanced JavaScript? You are obviously grasping at straws. Those with deep knowledge and experience can comprehend JavaScript's lack of consistency due to browser incompatibilities and from the design of the language itself.
Lols... I think he did not suggest "JSP". He just want to clear things out, if javascript server side or JSP ba imo boot pasabot. .. "Those with deep knowledge and experience" is that you?? lols...
BTW, I already know the browser incompatibilities of javascript kay mao na amo kinaon kadaadlaw...
Randolph, duha diay ka account imong gigamit pag post sa thread. Nice...
Pride kills, especially in programming...
daghan kabalo mo program, anyone can learn programming language, but a good programmer doesn't just look at the output, but how the codes are arranged and analyze to solve a particular problem.
programming is not about the language, but it's how you solve a particular problem!
