I don't follow the comic so I was a bit confused as to who Samuel L. Jackson was supposed to be in the movie. At first I thought he and ScarJo were reprising their roles from The Spirit. I had to search Iron Man 2 in wiki. It was only then that I realized that there was a post-credit scene in the first movie and I missed it. Damn, I hate it when that happens.

IMHO, Transformers: ROTF overdid it with the explosions. It was like, let's forget the plot and just blow everything up. I still enjoyed it though.

Iron Man 2 will not win any awards for plot either, but I think it had the right amount of action.
