actually bro, if naa na surge protection and other "protection" features ang imo ups, you don't need an avr. as per instruction sa APC manual, "plug the (back-ups es 500) power cord directly into a wall outlet; not into a surge protector or power strip." this applies to other brands as well.

kinahanglan ka makahibalo bro pila maximum power requirement sa tanan ipangsaksak nimo sa imo UPS just to be on the safe side. naa na man power rating imo monitor and other peripherals, what's left is ang power requirement sa imo rig. try this to give you a rough estimate, http://www.extreme.outervision.com/p...ulatorlite.jsp.

refer to this thread for some info and insights about avr
    https://www.istorya.net/forums/comput...for-my-pc.html

as for me i dont use ups because back up power is not important for me
and its not critical for my daily computing needs hehehehe
and tagsa ra kaayo mahitabo nay brown out sa amoa hehehe

but if critical para nimo ang naa kay extra power just in case brown outs occur i would recommend a ups
a good brand, but if dili better invest your budget on other parts like good brand psu
