We upgraded to 12Mbps... The only thing that is registering 10-11Mbps is on bayantel and skybroadband servers... the other servers on speedtest is around 1-2Mbps and uplink is registering only 18% (180Kbps even on bayantel and sky servers) of what they promised to offer upto 1Mbps...

naa koy na try last year nga internet cafe where sky internet ila provider diha to sa banilad dapit unahan gamay sa gullas medical. ga download kog drivers ad2. atots kusog pa man dial up nga connection. naa ra sa 9 - 15 kbps ang download.

Expected man na ang 9-15KBps kay imagine nalang na 3 or 6 mb ila plan then tungaon nimo sa 40 ka pc unya naa nag youtube. Tag-iya man mi sa net cafe sa leyte nd kabalo ko na matunga gud na samot na if naa nag youtube or download.

By the way, dili na siya 9-15kbps, ang sakto ana kay 9-15kBps. Ang small b kay bits, ang capital B kay bytes.

Sa post ni grey, normal man ang ping sa LA na 219ms considering na 7250 miles ang distance. Bisag unsa na ISP karon naa ra na diha ang range (180-300). Ang pinaka nindut lang na maabot karon na latency kay 150-180 if mag subscribe sa Fiber to the Home sa Globe na 10mbps@3999 or 100mbps@14999

depende sad bro.. using Blue media pinging on their server is only around 1ms and average around 50-100ms on the other servers... look sa skybroadband #2 bisan duol ra sa makati hehehe almost 400ms

ambot lang sad basin lain ang routes sa PLDT kaysa Bayantel or sky... murag ga-ilad man ni ilahang bandwidth

I'm interested in switching from PLDT to Sky Broadband. I have to renew my yearly Skycable TV subscription, I'll see what they can do for me.
