thanks sa pagtubag ani brad. work ko as Web Application Tester for pas 3 years. Wonder if naa mu mga testing sa Web, and if maggamit mug automation tool for web application ba, unsa nga testing code inyu gamiton? Sanay man gud kog automation then PHP ang gamit sa testing codes..

Daghan pa man bro, but mao na ang commonly gigamit. But don't forget, daghan gihapon ang nag-manual testing.

Is there any QA/testing Accreditation sa Pinas? kay naa nahibaloan kana mu exam ka para ma accredited ka as QA/Tester.

Murag wala pa man tingali bai... Commonly heard kay ISEB/ISTQB, CSTE, ug other Technical Tools Certification.. wala pa gyud ko kadungog naa from Pinas nga certification body.

Ang una requirement jud ana is dapat naa kay knowledge sa imung i test. ok ra basic since if madawat ka di man sad ka i pa test dayun. So if IT imu korso or related sa IT, di kaayu lisod. Ang pagsugod ray problema ana bro labi na ug entry level kay mag kat-on paman ka sa application imu i test nya ang testing process.

nindot na baya run sa cebu kay recognize na jud ang testing profession labi na sa mga foreign companies, di pariha sa una nga Technical Support an tawag nya ang uban company mga dev ang ipa test

Depends on which testing specialization you would be coming in.
Obviously, if sa automation testing ka, well, you should be knowledgeable sa scripting like javascripting or vb scripting (for RFT or QTP, respectively).
If manual testing ka, your functional knowledge of the application under test kay dapat pud superb.
But for the question, if lisod ikat-on as a tester? Ang tubag ana sis, kay learn to have testing as your passion - malingaw raka sige pangita ug bugs/defects - then later on, maka contribute naka process improvements.
All testers started from almost nothing.
