dili siya makadaog sa gi-load nga hardwares.. pangita gud ug lain nga psu bro kanang proven to be in good condition, maka-detect na ang imong computer ug external hdd..

same ni sa akong problem before nga ug mosaksak kog 4 gig nga flashdrive mabasa niya pero kon mosaksak kog external hdd like 20 gig or up kay dili nako makita sa MYCOMPUTER or moingon siyag USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED..

    hope ma-solve na imong problem..

hi. kanang mobo mo pa lang d na makaya mag power on sa mga external hard drive na nag require lang usb power... but if kanang usb hard drives na naay external power and usb flash drives medyo makaya pa na sa motherboard mo. kuwang jud na kaau ang current sa usb bus sa motherboard mo so it follows na kuwang and current pra mka power on sa usb hard drive... ang newer motherboard designs kron dagko naman ang current pra mka power sa mga newer external hard drives.

bisag ilisan mo pa na power supply mo it will not help.

so my suggestion is to buy an "external powered USB hub"

mao ni cya ako pasabot - http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_u_YFCyIcLS...ed+usb+hub.jpg

When using non-powered USB hubs, the power is drawn from the USB controller (either the mainboard or the addon card). The amount of power that can be drawn from the controller is rather limited. This is enough to feed small devices like cardreaders and mice, but not for the devices that need more power (like USB powered scanners, external usb hard drives w/out external power).

Non powered USB hubs are nice for mobile use (less cables) or when you just need a few small devices on the USB bus, but they have a downside. Although modern software (like Windows XP) detects when you are "overloading" your USB bus, some hardware can't take it and becomes unstable. Although this isn't common, it's wise to use powered USB hubs whenever you can (unless you have good reasons not to, such as for mobile use).

The maximum number of devices? I'm not sure about this, but if I remember correctly, each controller can hold 127 devices. That's more than enough for most situations, right?
