A few months back sige pa ko hisgot2x ani niya with Koreans who loved to talk about politics. Many South Koreans hate their current president (Lee Myun-Bak). Mas arang2x pa kuno ni si Roo Moo-Hyun (ex president), although he faced corruption allegations also. Apparently these allegations were too much for him.

I find it shocking. Can you imagine a former Philippine president committing suicide?

I'm wondering what this will do to the people's morale. Kusog ra ba kaayu ang copycat suicides sa Korea.

Kung ingun ani palang ka honorable ang mga politicians nato, HUROT NA SIGURO SILA NOH? haha! Bitaw, mao ni sakto nga ibutang sa pwesto... Kung makabuhat gani ug sukwahi sa ilang prinsipyo or sa bala-od, dapat MA-OWOW na gyud unta... pero sa damgo nalang ni sa atong nasud kay kung naay madakpan diri nga politico, mo-inguns man lang, "MAS GRABI PA GANI SI KU-AN! ^wala pa. hainan siyag indictment next week unta. he denied all allegations against him. murag iyang brother na priso naman pod tingale. iyang family man gyud gi tira for alledged bribery.

see how our culture complements theirs? kita makat-on sa ka-kugihan ug future-oriented sa mga koreano; sila pod makat-on sa resilience sa pinoy. i don't think shame can gravely affect us.

IMO, mas 'evil' man si ex-president Chun...he was responsible for the Gwangju Massacre that killed more than a hundred civilians...
