can u guys share d workflow if u nailed it already..
try asking jan gonzales unsa.on na niya...
Jan actually is doing a different style. Different look. We have to be unique as much possible to make a name in the industry.
i agree.. Jan has his own look... somewhat warmer compared to Dave Hill
as for Dave Hill, you could browse on his site and watch some of his behind the scenes videos... he usually use a ringlight for fill and a strobe which acts as his "sun light" (as seen on his WWE works), other strobes for axis lighting
pls share nalang pix of your own version of dat "gritty davehill inspired" look.. saw some pix fr d strobist thread dat alrdy resembled dat unique look.. tnx..
ok, il share my attempt on this style of pp.. a pic of my daughters.. i used only d built-in flash of my d80.. for editing, i used lightroom..
pls share yours too..
dara pud akong testing2x-pataka' hehehe... lightroom pd ako gamit'
i think in order to achieve the dave hill effect, need pud nimo ug sakto ang lighting
sa pagkuha pa lang sa picture, and not necessarily just adjusting the shadows, etc.
in photoshop (either manually or by an action).
yup, i also read that from an article before... the secret to his photos daw is the correct lighting mao in-ana ka-distinct iya mga photos, d madali-dali ug duplicate ang style
ma duplicate baya gyud ang style actually (the shadow2x, etc.) pero ang concept man gud
maoy lisod buhaton
but there's no harm in testing this effect pero you don't want to be a 'dave hill' wannabe
forever
mas nindot gyud if naay "<insert your name>" effect. choi di ba?
kang cmontoya ko ani nka kuha haha
