usually, catholics are really just "play by the ball... what church tells you to do, what the church tells you say that it is what it is, we do...
i dont believe that anymore... i woke up... like the bible says in the garden of eden, "we have a choice"...
that is for me to break free... not a rustom padilla breaking free... but waking up that we really do have a choice...
with that choice, use REASONING..... you'll wake up in the real world... that there are no spirits or someone higher than us who can help us or can save us but ourselves...
Rustom Padilla?
I believe that in the context of religion, we can still break free and truly live. In fact, I believe that's the very purpose of religion. Religion at its best liberates; it helps us to awaken to the truth about who we are and what our purpose in life is. St. Ireneus said, "The glory of God is man fully alive." God is glorified when we are fully alive, because He created us to live fully.
