ATI Radeon 2600XT 512mb 128bit

i know this card is really not the cutting edge today, pero mao ra ni akong na-afford at 2,900 its quite good for a ddr3. naa lang ko gamay pangutana. i need help please.

the idle temp is 47-52d celcius is this ok?
nagduwa ko game and set it to highest graphics settings,smooth kaau ang performance and i was amazed with what i got for my 2,900 but the vcard temp is 63d celcius!!
wala cya mi-crash, pero nahibulong lang ko nganu init kaau?
mogamay ang lifespan sa vcard ani?

bro ok lang na siya tolerable pa na ngana sad temp ako gpu idle temps is 40+ at full load modagan 60+
try to improve the airflow sa imo chasis nlng para mo lower down pana siya
pero im planning to get an after market gpu cooler para mo ubos pa akoa temps wala pa lang ko kita baligya or mag order pa
hehehe important man sad ubos imo temp para less stress sa mga components ba makatabang man sad para ma taas2 ang lifespan gud

I had a GeForce 6600 a while back it idled at 56c and when loaded it when to 85c. I encountered no problems of any kind while using the card. Pero just for your piece of mind you could buy those VGA cooler kits at CDR King to replace your stock HSF OR you could improve the airflow within your case by adding more fans.

i think u can change the fan speed via the Catalyst Control Center...naa sa ATI Overdrive tab man tingali na...para dili kaayo init iya temp...

@simoko, ati catalyst is weird.. dili ko ka-adjust hasta sa overclock.. wala pud para fan speed didto.

salamat ninyo, abi nako ug dili normal ako vcard lolz
naa nako plan to resolve this, i will buy a bigger case and put more holes in it and i will use big fans powered with 220v, salamat sa mga idea.

better use nlng 120mm 12v na fan mas silent pa tapos maka move sad og enough air

i have no choice sa kasaba nila, nag gamit man ko ron ug 220 nga fan sa modem...
mas kusog man pud ang hangin nga ma produce sa 220 nga fan, so mas paspas ang circulation, nya plano pud nako, puhon makakawarta mag experiment ug lahi nga cooling system. lol.

@dmelsie dba play ka ug sro sa? mogamit ka ug agbot ug testosterone? ako gamit ko ana running 3 accounts, mao jud ni ako na-notice, everytime mag switch-switch ka sa accounts kay maguba ang graphics. mogawas tong murag goma-goma nga style. ingun ana imo vcard?

dont know if sa about u 2600xt ba na pero ati videocard pod to akoa 3200 kana on board sa 780g
naka try na sad ko ingana ni gawas sa nvidia agp videocard nako sauna hehehe baw lang naunsa na nga display mo ingana usahay pero seldom ra ko ka encounter ana

ok ra na nga temp bro. pero if balaka ka, adjust fan control via catalysts as per boss simoko's advice. noise level will be increased also, hehehe...
