i think miami heat is the toughest team after the all star break, with 15-1 record,

is because wade had a bad night.... zo got injured early in the first half & shaq is not at 100% condition.

though that are not excuses but it is merely just another game where the heat cannot go with the rhythm...

pat must have something to plan ahead of this... play-offs is just around the corner.

i like the heat and pistons. but if the centers(heat) are not 100% healthy shaq and alonzo, its going to be a tough journey for the heat to the finals because the playoffs is the time when the best team play against each other. Thats the time when the heat really needs those 2 guys.

and Zo's gonna miss the early part of the play-offs. who's gonna play back-up center for shaq?

Mourning Expected to Miss 2-4 Weeks

MIAMI, March 23 – The Miami HEAT announced today that the results of an MRI performed on center Alonzo Mourning has revealed a partial tear of the medial gastroc muscle (calf). Mourning, who leads the NBA this season in blocked shots with 173, is expected to be out between 2-4 weeks with the partial tear of his right calf. He suffered the injury with 10:01 remaining in the second quarter at Detroit last night. Mourning has appeared in 65 games (20 starts) this season and is averaging 7.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.66 blocks and 20 minutes while shooting 59.7 percent from the floor and 59.4 percent from the foul line.

    what is pat gonna do.
it will be intersting to watch the heat without one of their key player and a very important center who rebounds and block.

Michael Doleac and Earl Barron are on their roster but I dunno if they'll go deep in the play-offs with those guys backing up Shaq.
