Why are Cebu gas pump prices higher than in any othe major Philippine city

Diesel Pump prices in Dipolog and Pagadian today(12/5/0 are pegged at 33.76 while it remains at 36.70 pesos in Cebu...Im wondering whether Cebu gas station owners are pulling Cebuanos legs

from what i know taas ta sa manila ug prices because naa didto ang refinery nila so additional charges tungod sa pag transport ana padng diri.... i dont know lng ko sa mindanao naa ba cla own refinery plant didto... basi mao na ang reason.. but kng gkan pa sa manila aw dapat same or mas taas pa unta ila prices compare dri sa atoa

i guess your comparing cebu's prices with cities that are not as progressive as cebu is shallow. IMO obviously, economic activity, Standard of living, and consumer demands, etc are some of the considerations to tag prices. Dipolog and Pagadian do not have the same volume of cars running on their streets as compared to cebu's.

I also observed this before when Im in Digos City, Davao del Sur, the pump prices of their diesel and gasoline is much higher compared the prices here in Cebu.

diesel pump prices in cagayan de oro city is P35.33/liter while its P35.17/liter in bukidnon province.
