Assuming wala kay will and testament signed by a lawyer.
Is it claimable by your dependents?
Is it claimable by your relatives?
Just curious lang, mayning kabalo ta daan.

nobody knows my account, even my family.. so ang bank ra ang malipay.. this thread make me think... bitaw noh? karon pa ko... wala jud na nako na realize..
It's called a will. Make one.
It can be claimed by your immediate family like wife/husband, or parents for single. But the burden of proof is there that indeed you are related. The claimant will have to pay estate taxes then. If nobody will claim. It will go to the estate or government.
Murag mao ni ako nbal-an...
its true. if your family doesn't know about your accounts, bangko ra malipay
aw kana malipay sila kon naay sulod...pero kon wala...hahaha
so kung mamatay ko ang priority would be my son, but if underaged pa siya then my parents.
but I still have to share the account numbers.

I remember when i opened the account on my bank I had to name a beneficiary. You might want to ask your bank about that.
