VIrus/Trojan interrupting with Deepfreeze/Hiding Files

I'm having problems with one of my pc... apparently, deepfreeze is not responding whenever i try to activate it... The "Enter Password" pops up but it stops responding after...

I suspect it to have a virus/trojan...

I found an alternative solution to activate it... I run combofix.exe (and let it scan my pc) and i'm able to activate deepfreeze options... however, the problem still persists even though i've scanned my pc with NOd32 anti-v... are there any other way with this my problem?

Also, i have a problem with activating the hidden folders... I can't view 'em even though i've already checked the option to view hidden folders.

DO you guys have any solution with my current problem?

Maybe u have to uninstall the deepfreeze and let combofix and antivirus must find and delete those files. or else it's just same process of deleting files in freeze mode which everytime it restarts, the virus/trojan exists and infect your deepfreeze.

i dont know if this is OT but your talking about deepfreeze... i might as well ask u guys...

i recently bought a HP 520 and had vista starter kit installed on it... i installed deepfreeze v.6 then i can;t seem to see the bear icon on the lower right side and i can't de activate deepfreeze...

any advice?

nah same prob with me before. aq nalang gi uninstall..

Ako lng nya suwayan og uninstall ang deepfreeze nya install balik...i hope everything will work out fine...

um usually that problem comes when you installed something pag thaw that usually happends especially mga crack softwares or internet browsing

yea...i figure that one too... that sucks.. well, is there any other way to get around this problem except for reformatting and installing everything?
