    Default Digital Photography (2nd Edition)


    This thread is dedicated to Digital Photography.
    to learn from each other different ways of capturing images thru a digital sensor!
    comments, ideas, critique, and advices are most welcome

    However, please follow the guidelines:

    - you may post only your OWN photos here. please respect other peoples work. DO NOT take/copy anyones images without asking explicit permission.

    - citing another photographer's work for examples should be done with a link to the photo/site/advertisment. you may post in a way as to ask, "how can I make a photo like this?".

    - limit the size of the image to no more than 500x500@72dpi and 100kb.

    - only constructive comments, criticism & advices are allowed. No unnessceary comments please!

    - no thread hogging/flooding is allowed. as much as possible most comments should be kept in one post, not one after the next.

    - please post sensibly and observe censorship. for those who want to post things like nudes should just have a link to the photos with: WARNING:[viewer discretion] artistic nude

    - always include some details and information regarding the photos posted to give other forumers a better insight into how the image was taken and with what gear. share ways and techniques of making use of a digital camera!

    Reflections...

    Shutter speed was bracketed for 3 exposures; this is the middle exposure and it turned out to be the "best" of the bunch in terms of highlighting the spotlighted area and the reflection....

    have you tried shooting at a much higher apature and a much longer exposure. you might get nice results sad
    BTW, ill have to ask you to reduce the size of the image you uploaded.
    pls follow the guidelines. its for everyones benifit

    Banawe, Mt. Province



    20D with 70-300 DO IS
    set to 300mm ISO400 1/250@F6.3

    i would have prefered to use a higher shutter at such a long focal since all my banawe shoots are handheld, but since the available light was limited and even pushing ISO to 400. i had to maximize what was available. IS feature offered very nice assistance
