The reason behind why there is just barely enough cooling for stock heatsinks is because of competition. If they opt to build good quality cooling, then it would mean additional cost and which would ultimately mean higher price. With fierce competition between intel and AMD, that is just not viable. So, they build just enough cooling solutions for their product, make the price competitive and let their customers have the a free hand on whatever upgrade they want that would suit their style and needs. Black edition CPUs dont even have stock cooling. If you are the average user that dont stress the cpu too much, then the stock cooling is more than enough for your needs.

Stock Coolers are applicable for non overclockers. If you overclock then you need upgrade to a better cooling solution to catch up.

YES ur right but what if ur stock HSF cant provide enough cooling and ur CPU case doesnt have a good airflow. So I think much better to use a cpu cooler than a hsf stock.

Mao na nahitabo sa akoa, I have a good CASE although generic pero I put a lot of fans inside, but why my CPU always reaches 60-68C when loaded and when idle it reaches 50-60C so I think I have to buy a cpu cooler that could make the CPU feel stable and have good help for thermal dissipation.

cgruo mga bro, ang thread stater is not an overslocker... thats why naka come up siya ana nga question...

stock coolers are enough na for your CPU under the manufacturer's specification.... if you want it to be cooled better, that's where after market CPU coolers comes in.... pero take note nga not all after market CPU coolers performs better than the stock cooler... so read reviews first...

if you overclock, its a must jud to have a better CPU cooler other than the stock cooler...

More CPU Heat, less CPU Lifetime...
