need help: setting up a small network

Equipments:

1 unit D-link Switch
1 DSL modem ( pwede ra ni nako e-plug bisan asa na port sa switch?)
10 units PC's
Lan Cables with RJ45

1. Windows Xp unta ako gamiton na OS.
2. Kinahanglan ba ko ug server PC?
3. Ganahan ko naa internet access tanan PC's
4. Share a common printer
5. Unsaon pag configure sa network settings?

palit ug router bro.. para ma share nimo ang internet sa kasayon, kay kong wala ka router pc ang mag server sa imong internet pwede lang gehapon.. pero di man gud stable ang ICS sa microsoft bro.. mag blema nya ka.. so palit ug router...

naa ko dlink router.. ang problema ani kai saon pag set-up?

Mostly kung out-of-the-box ang imong router plug n play na. Default settings na. (Auto obtain IP sa WAN/Internet port og dhcp server na cya). Wla na kay i-configure.

Just my 2cents.

then all pc connect to switch.
1 pc with the printer (enable sharing)
all pc same network. all pc auto obtain ip.
then u have it.

how about an static IP address? mo assign ka ug ip sa mg a work station.. kung imo obtain naa traffic sa ip configured.

noob question lang,if mag set up kog wireless network connection bah,aside sa wireless router,modem and pc,unsa pa ako kinahanglan?wla jud ko alamag ani netwrking gud,plano man gud ko himo ug kanang coin operated nga pc pro gnhan ko wireless lang pra pwede mabalhin balhin,tanx jud ayu

pwede ba na ma wireless ang usa ka pc and the other is cable ang gamit?katong yelow ang color kung sa mydsl sa pldt pa,rj45 ba to,hehehe ambot lang oi,la jud ko alamag sa mga name,hehehe
