Default Moving over to new server and vBulletin - May 25, 2008 @ 12AM

    Hello,

We will be moving to a new and better server in the next 2-3 weeks. We will also move from SMF to vBulletin as our forum software. Since vBulletin cannot import SMF passwords, everyone should update the email address listed under your profile. Failure to do so will render your account inaccessible and it will take a lot of time manually updating them. Again, it is very important that you have a working email address in your profile for the password recovery process.

Support for password recovery will not be a priority after we switch to vBulletin. Make sure you update your profile and put a working email address there. Don't cry to us if you cannot retrieve your password as we have better things to do when the switch is complete.

    Best Regards,

    BeoR

Server migration will be done on May 25, 2008 @ 12:00AM

    What he said.

Passwords cannot be imported as the two forum systems use different types of hashing. This hashing is one way which means you and only you would know your password and thus needs to be reset when we move over.

Save yourself and us the headache of not being able to access iSTORYA on day one after the move by making sure your e-mail address is correct in your profile. Your profile can be accessed by clicking on "Profile" at the top menu, then clicking on "Account Related Settings" on the smaller menu after the page loads.
