Hi guys

for an it professional unsay nindot na carrer path ma take. im planing to take masters in it but my friends tell me na mag pa certify sa daw ko.

question:

1. unsay nindot na it skill tree im ma take?
2. what certification course ma take? what school or what institution pwede mag pa certify.?

u can try and venture yout it career with SAP...though very expensive i think the pay is worth looking i guess...

then kailangan talaga eh passion maging magaling sa field.

pero about the suggestion of taking java. Ang masasabi ko lang eh isa lang naman yan sa options. Ikaw naman talaga bahala kung software or hardware ang trips mo about sa computer.

sa field ng software ofcourse eh it will lead to programming until you became a Consultant (e.g. Cobol Consultant or Java Consultant).

pag sa Hardware eh okie na rin maging Network administrator or Head administrator ng isang Call Center(example lang yan ah). kasi malaki na bayad sa'yo eh bossing ka pa. Meron pang mas mataas sa Net Admin which is I.T. Architech... yan yung taga plano ng malalaking business facilities and solutions ng mga big companies. So kung magtatayo ng isang Programming Company sa foreign countries eh ikaw ang tatanongin ng lahat from budget to construction. Grabe, ang laki ng pera dyan.

firmware - (cellphone software or mga software ng mga appliances)
application software - (mga software like notepad, computer timer etc)
games (ragnarok, diablo, NBA, minsan may porn din na games ) )
advertisement (advertisement, eto yung mabilisang gawa ng website dahil merong event).

Choose your path boss. Kung kukuha ka ng masters eh hindi ko na sayo ma-aadvice yan dahil hindi marunong mag turo ang mga teacher sa school. Muntik na rin akong maging teacher pero nagtuturo ako ng libre about Java, C#.net sa mga programmers na.

To my own opinion eh ang pangit kasi sa teacher eh mga walang alam (pasensya na ah). Kasi kaya nga sila naging teacher lang eh dahil hindi sila makapag program professionally sa mga company. Pero that is not all true dahil okay yung teacher ko sa SSS nung nag aral ako sa Goverment NCC (national computer center). Pero still nakikita kong napaka onti lang ng marurunong na teacher kasi ang mga magagaling eh hindi talaga naging teacher.

Pero dagdag ko na rin, sabi ni erpat eh magandang mag aral ng business administration course na idadagdag mo pag tapos ka ng I.T. or Computer Science dahil nga malalaman mo pano e-mamarket ang business solution and custom software plus real life application at mga nagagawa ng software sa buhay ng tao at pagpapataas ng profit. Syempre, hindi ako nag masters dahil hindi ako naniniwala sa teacher. Besides, dapat magaling ka muna mag program bago yung mga tinatarget na application na magaganda.

hahahaha bias ka ... offtopic: nag pa certify ka na sa 10g or 11? Me was forced to dump Oracle kay we shifted to DB2!!!
