Thanks for the info. All the cheap hotels were fully booked when we arrived. Reservations strongly recommended if you're coming over the week prior to, during and after Silliman Founder's Week (August) and the city fiesta (November).

We ended up lodging at Obdulia's Business Inn. 1.5k/night for a family suite. The price may be a bit steep, but it's a good place since the Cathedral, Quezon Park, boulevard and downtown area just walking distances away from the hotel.

We got there twice and Dumaguete is good to live with your family...

It is peaceful and clean, small but complete...

maayo unta makakita ko dayun og barato nga accommodation doul sa boulevard. hope dili puno.

sa highway ra man ang bus. manaug gyud ka simala, sultihi lang ang conductor. then sakay na sab ka paingon sa sitio lindogon, kung moadto ka sa shrine. sakto ka. sakay na sad ka laing bus padung bato-oslob inig naug nimo gikan lindogon, simala.

dili na puno karon didto kay mana man festical ug fiesta. barato accomodation is check-inn, hotel palwa, world view,..hotel nicanor is newest.

gkan ko dumaguete last week. mas dako ila robinsons kysa dri cebu. i think its 2-3 times bigger. naa cla 3 ka cinemas sa sod.

nana jud ko diri sa dumaguete. nakakita ko og less than 250 aircon room / common CR, near siliman, kaso fully booked. so nangita nalang ko sa unahan. i noticed nga chilax ra kau diri, daghan sad mga foreigners.

Gepadako jud nila ky wla pman ang SM sila man nkauna didto na klaro na mall. Kung wla ang robi wla juy ayo ang duma mura rag Danao sa Cebu, bati au mga malls.
