i wanted to change the valves of the power section of my amp. anybody here who knows a Cebuano amp tech who know amp biasing?

@pugak: ikaw ra nag ilis sa power valves sa imo Deluxe bai? ako nailhan nga fixed bias amps are the Mesas, which they dont need biasing kay fixed ilang plate current. Marshall ni ako, naka EL34s.

@cris_crash: naghuwat pako nga mu expire ni ang warranty. By then ako ni retube ug new set or maybe rebias depende sa condition sa tubes. Thats one reason i got this model coz sayun ra i bias (based on video demos). No need to remove the chassis and drain the caps as opposed to the vintage tube amps. I still have to try this myself thou

@pugak: naa ka bias tester? planning to buy a tester sa ebay. naa man daghan HK sellers pero wala lang usa ko nipalit kay wa pako idea maayo ba na ilang tester baligya. nagsige sad ko research sa internet about biasing. my amp is a Marshall MA50C. ang mga preamp tubes lang usa ako giuna ilis.

murag recent man na nga model nga marshall. i think i base nalang na imu bias sa videos nga naay el34 nga amp. wala pa sad ko nipalit ug bias probe as i don't currently need it and i think i only need a multimeter for my amp. I think mas gamit na ang bias probe sa imuha. Si nasyo nalang ang imong ipa bias sa amp. Just get the ideal bias setting sa el34 based amp. That's just my opinion.
