I've been teaching friends since I was in college. Then I started the photography group in 2003~2004 when more people asked me to teach them photography as well.

From a handful of people the group has grown since then and many students have become successful photographers in their own right.

Photography has been my life. I got my own camera at the age of 5 and have been happily clicking away ever since.

I started doing commercial work in 2003 and got my first magazine cover in 2004. I've been tapped by fashiontv as a mentor in photography for the ftv modelschool.

So, in all, I have more than 30 years of experience... a lot of it learned from the school of hard knocks.

What I teach is not just change this setting for brighter or darker pictures. I teach the photographer mind set.

The full understanding of what goes on inside your camera and the knowledge of light so you can take better pictures.

So walk right up and register for three days of fun, food, friendship, and knowledge

Nope... any camera with manual control will do. Bridge cameras, mirrorless, entry-level dSLRs are all welcome.

I myself have downgraded to an EOS 650D as I hated lugging around the heavier "pro" models.

    Shots with the 650D...

My first digital camera was a Sony Cybershot DSC-F717 that I used to shoot these...
