It's called "Rhein II" and was photographed by Andreas Gursky, and it sold on Tuesday night for $4.3 million at Christie's. That easily broke the previous record set by Cindy Sherman's "Untitled #96" which sold at a $3.89 million price point in May. Gursky's photo is also the reason you should have become an art broker, like yesterday.

that's why some form of art needed to be understood to be appreciate well

naa pud uban nga mu claim ug art ang ilang work because it fall out from the norms of tradition and also pud kay sila mismo dili gani ka explain how & why their work came to be (as to some amateurs feeling pro hehe)

mao pud na gi-ingon "ART" is always an overused excuse or a "saving grace" to those who expect their work to turn out fantastically yet ended up in disappointing results.

to most sayon ra gyud kaayo sulti or label their work as "art" like everything is art daw.
bahala na usa ka lata pintal accidentally matagak sa canvas splattering all over pwede na ma "art" hahaha
