    Default DOJ tells mobile operators: ‘Unlimited’ means no data cap


    Flexing the government’s police power, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has issued a second advisory on the telecommunications sector which warned telcos “not to mislead or deceive subscribers with unlimited Internet packages that are eventually throttled upon reaching a certain volume of data.”

    The Justice Department has noted that telcos have been keen on enticing subscribers with various promotional campaigns especially with unlimited deals that impose certain restrictions on these offers.

    “While there is nothing wrong with advertisements and promotions, what is promised must be delivered,” said DOJ Secretary Leil......

    sakto gyud. ilad ni ilang style. ngano di naman lang gyud nila ingon nga after 800mb (globe) halos di naka maka konek. mao man ni practice sa gawas. you pay how much mb imong ma consume but they don't use the word unlimited.

    Philippines has one of the slowest and most expensive nga internet connection..... kasabot man ta nga daghan mo gamit nya maka slow down sa ilang system but that should not be the case.. they should update their system to accommodate the need sa mga customers para ma increase ilang sales... no need to cap.. I'm sure if naai mo tukod ug ISP nga pas2x, wai cap and mas baratu kirig gud ni ilang mga itlog...

    Unsaon pd pagsulod og mga foreign investor nga ISP bro kung kayang pugngan sa mga telco arun dili maka sulod dere sa atoa..

    Naa btw tong ZTE unta mao na unta toy solution pra naa laen isp dere sa pinas. gebuhatan pd og issue...

    Kasohon dayun kay pagpangilad maning ilaha labi na sa globe... ang smart ni ana man jud pag apply nako na wa clay unlimitted data service sa 3g/4g nila...
