Dubbed the G7750-A64, I'm going to call it "Cylon #13" (or "Daniel The Toaster") instead. It's been upgraded with a Core i7-960 3.20GHz CPU and a new GeForce GTX 260 graphics card to go with its 8GB of RAM, and also boasts a more reserved, darker colour scheme.
I'd have said the new tones were "tasteful", but I don't think tasteful is where Acer is going with these things.
The G7750-A64 was first unveiled last month in Asia, and is priced there at PhP153,900 and ¥289, 800. Which is around, oh, USD$3300.
Paradise don't come cheap.
Okay, lets break this gaming rig by Acer down down down.
-At the price of $3300, its somewhere in 155000 pesos already.
-At that money, you can already have a better GPU other than GTX 260 (you could possibly even go SLI/Crossfire)
-At that money, NZXT Casings do look the same and is cheaper too. But I will still dig the casing due to its awesomeness in design.
-At that money, you can have a rig better than the specifications in the Acer Predator.
-At that money, you can already have a better monitor and kickass peripherals.
Would you buy it?
