Every time Michael Jordan stepped onto the court, he commanded attention. Very few players in NBA history had his talent to take over games. Many fans will remember Jordan for his ability to almost fly to the basket for amazing slam dunks. Others will remember No. 23 as a prolific scorer who could hit from almost anywhere on the hardwood. MJ could also play on the other side of the ball; he was once the league's Defensive Player of the Year, and made the All-Defensive First Team nine times during his spectacular career.

The five-time Most Valuable Player wasn't out just for individual glory, however; he helped his teams win titles. MJ led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships in the 1990s and won two gold medals as a member of the U.S. Olympic team.

Since he retired, basketball fans have looked for another player to step up and wow them. Fans and sports writers have dubbed a few young stars as the "next Jordan," but have they lived up to the hype? We'll discuss that here. All amounts of money are in U.S. dollars.

its all about the team, not an individual sports........it just happens that james is blessed as a scoring machine........at 21, my God, even Jordan admits he is not as good as lebron at 21.........

thats why I like steve nash so much, even though he s not scoring 30 pts a game, but look at the phoenix suns, look at boris diaw, ngano ni maay ma na siya, its bec. of steve nash......

No doubt nga Lebron has the potentials and has the individual skills to be a Michael Jordan heir. But for now it's still long way to go before he may be able to get that "heir thing". MJ has accomplised so many achievements in basketball, not just individual accomplishments but team and career wise. Anyway, Lebron is still young and there is still very ample time for him to prove nga angayan siya. He is now slowly earning respect from his team mates as well as other players in the league.
Kobe,Vince,Tmac---I think it's quite late for them to be able to get it.
