If you really want to burn $ 1,000.00 on a kick-arse CPU, then go dual core... according to the reviews, this CPU is just not worth it right now.
IMO, I'm sticking to my Sempron 2400+ for now.... wala pay kwarta...

fx-57 are good for games and single threaded applications, no single core intel processor can beat this.
