What are the factors that we cod considerr if we have slow internet activity?

Hi guys,

I'd like to ask what are the factors that we consider if we have a slow internet activity.

Coz i have a 600+ kbps based on http://speed.skyinet.net but im experiencing a slow internet both in browsing and streaming.

I'd like to address this to computer expert here, hope you cod help me with this.

anti-spyware/anti-adware, anti-virus.
disk clean-up.
registry clean-up.
defrag registry/disk.
update OS, update apps.
stop all services your PC is not using.
exit all running apps(foreground/background) if not in use.

check throughput capacity of your gateway devices, like firewall and router. also check forwarding rate of your switches. bottleneck is maybe in the network infra, if your workstation is all fine.

i have updated antivirus, antiadware, anti spyware
also disk cleanuo
i am using ccleaner for registry cleanup
and i defrag using windows defrag
i have windows XP but i didnt allow uodates
my application is updated
i stop unnecessary application when not in used
i exit running application when not in used

still the internet is slow but not now the internet is fast

i am using Speedtouch 330 as modem, no need to configure except the username and password
i dont know how to check the forwarding rates of switches, maybe you could help me

i am using utorrent as my downloader, gamay ra man ang bandwidth used

try stop all downloading torrent bisag utorrent low bandwith siya download mana gihapon and try to browse if still slow basin ang site hinay

if sure ka nahuman nmu check imu softwares and applications, try to check imu network infra, modem and cables might be disrupted by some interference.... loose cabling...
