""Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following the one in the midst of those who eat the flesh of pigs and rats and other abominable things- they will meet their end together", declares the LORD." (Isaiah 66:17).

No one verse should be interpreted in a manner that conflicts with scripture as a whole.

Mao na ang usa sa mga bases sa some Judeo-Christian religions and sects not to eat unclean animals. Naa pod na siya sa Exodus katong ge declare ni God not to eat pigs, shrimps, etc..

Pero naa man pang counter ana..

    Peter's Vision (Acts 10:9-16)

9 The next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour [2] to pray. 10 And he became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while they were preparing it, he fell into a trance 11 and saw the heavens opened and something like a great sheet descending, being let down by its four corners upon the earth. 12 In it were all kinds of animals and reptiles and birds of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him: “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” 14 But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.” 15 And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common.” 16 This happened three times, and the thing was taken up at once to heaven.

Based on my subjective thinking nd regaining my memmory with the help of my gifted wisdom nd all esgariting materials adding sugar and taste the aroma tea of mind, heres my answer regarding not to eat mamoy..
Need a verse? Base on how i follow bible teachings..
first, lets go to d old and ancient text

"Then God said, "I give you every seed- bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food." (Genesis 1:29).

the text that support for the clean and can be eaten. "You may eat any animal that has a split hoof completely divided and that chews the cud." (Leviticus 11:3). "

"'There are some that only chew the cud or only have a split hoof, but you must not eat them. The camel, though it chews the cud, does not have a split hoof; it is ceremonially unclean for you. The coney, though it chews the cud, does not have a split hoof; it is unclean for you." (Leviticus 11:4-5). "

The rabbit, though it chews the cud, does not have a split hoof; it is unclean for you." (Leviticus 11:6).

THE BIBLE SAYS FOR THE PIGS (MAMOY) "And the pig, though it has a split hoof completely divided, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you." (Leviticus 11:7).

    NOTE: no philosophy allowed

by reading the bible in (leveticus chapter 11) you will know the exact proportion and exact rating level, etc on how God commanded you not to eat unclean foodz

    >>>> agreable reasons? Satisfied?

^^ That's one of the reason why there is the New Testament... God already gave us a go-signal to eat these so called "unclean foods", as what He has commanded unto Peter...

Nope, you've read Leviticus Chapter 11 verses 2 onwards...

Read Leviticus Chapter 11 verse 1

Lev 11:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,

Iniutos yan kay Aaron at Moses. Batas yan para sa Israel. Pero binago na ni Jesus.

    Sabi ni Kristo:
Mar 7:19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

Hindi na masama kumain ng baboy.
