Default Help me How to configure my VC for good output

    Fellow Istoryans,

I'd like to ask for your inputs on how can I optimize/configure my PC's video card and LCD monitor to deliver good image output. I'm quite disappointed lately because when I watched movies (DVD/VCD) over my PC, the image isn't so crisp when set to full-screen. Pixelated na xa and blurry. Mas better pa gud cguro to among old PC... CRT pa jd to.

This is my VC and LCD monitor:

AOC 193 19”FW wide screen LCD monitor.... current resolution used: 1440x900@60Hz
    Sapphire HD2400 256mb 128bit pcie

    Thanks.

that's probably because your video resolution is lesser than what you have in your monitor... mopixelate gyud na gamay... ako-a gani, ang akong monitor is 22" and 1680x1050 ang resolution... when i play dvd on my pc, and view it at full screen, pixelated gamay ang image kung tan-awon nimo sa duol... but kung sa layo, ok ra... if you want very crisp video at high resolution, then go for HD video...

if youre just watching VCD... hehehe.. thats really really NORMAL (ang faet, wla nakay mabuhat para motin-aw sya, but if you'll set the video to its 100% size or the 'actual size' tin-aw tin-aw pud na)... if you really want the crispiest movies to watch. get those movies in HD DVD.

DVD's video resolution is only at around 720x480... compare that to an HD's resolution which is at 1920x1080... kulangon pa gani na imong 1440x900 nga resolution sa imong monitor... hehehe!

yeah, ang reason ana bro kay inaton na sa player ang video para masulod sa screen kung gamay ra mao mupixelate. pero kung 100% lang or actual size then tin-aw na pero di pud mapuno imo screen. hehehehe...

toinks... even karon dili man ghapon mapuno ako screen, bro. Full-screen mode na ang player (Windows media player) but ang image ky gamay ra... naa ra sa center and doesn't occupy the whole screen both vertical/horizontal. It leaves me wondering why it is pixelated when in fact the image view isn't that big.
