Huwat sa, daghana na diay comments while I took a break. This is good, but I have to continuously clarify the confusion with the term "Centrist".

We are centrist because we are neither leftists nor authoritarian rightists. It is where we occupy the political spectrum. The term has nothing to do at all with centralized government as in fact we are advocating the establishment of a decentralized federal form of government and believe in the principle of subsidiarity, that the smaller component should handle the smaller things.

Now let me scroll through the thread....

SLR, white! As you can imagine we are very busy entering the last few days of the campaign.

We are centrist because we are neither leftist nor authoritarian rightists. We stand firmly in the middle of the political spectrum, like most people. Of course you could be a bit left of center or right of center, but still somewhere in the middle.

Closer to social liberalism. But to make clear, we subscribe to the SOCIAL teachings, not the RELIGIOUS teachings of the Church. Since the social teachings are acceptable to most if not all people, we have Muslims and even atheists in our party. Many thanks for asking gareb.
