ang ako lang comment about this is that... if you are making money using that software then you should buy it.
if for personal lang like sa house then i think its okay.

Thank god I still have a better understanding about the social status of some folks. If I was a gutless & heartless freak; someone (NBI) will be there @ your doorstep w/ a warrant.Originally Posted by ragadude

Piracy is stealing indeed but come to think of it, we are only getting the copy while Microsoft (or other software companies abroad) are getting the ORIGINAL, meaning our programmers here (aka Brain Drain)...and where do these companies get most of their talented programmers? from third world countries like the Philippines, Israel and India, which by the way is in the top list of countries with most pirated softwares, pirated-software nga gi-practisan sa atong mga talented 3rd world country programmers...if wa pay pirated diri, naa kaha maka-study ani? aw, naa..ang rich people lang.....hehehe...so, as you can see, piracy is helping Gill Bates diay? hahahaha..
The foregoing, whilst believed to be correct, is given without guarantee as to it's accuracy and entirely without recourse. You are required to decide for yourself whether or not it is suitable for your purposes and no liability for loss of any nature can be entertained....hehehehe
Again, a common mistake. Stealing != Copyright infringement! When you steal a car, you deprive the original owner the right to use the car. Software, music, movies, etc. are on a completely different boat. When you pirate a song, you don't deprive the original owner to use the song.. it is still within their possession. Not that I'm justifying piracy; I just want to be crystal clear with the terms in use.Originally Posted by Spec-V
Piracy will always be a fact of life. Even Microsoft itself is admitting that "if you are going to pirate software, just pirate Microsoft software". Piracy is a form of advertising for these companies. That's why they'll never go after regular home users; they'll go after big businesses and people who actually make money by pirating their software. They'll leave all the torrent sites and warez sites alone for a very, very long time. For now, the regular home pirates can be at peace.![]()

^Im no english professor, all i Know is to uphold the Law. Theres no Gray Area on this matter. Stealing is Stealing; no matter how you justify it or turn it upside down or sideways. Stealing is a crime. Its a slap to the wrist & into the slammers, plus a huge fine that you have to coughed up upfront.
ni-agi ta tanan ana. wla mo nagtan-aw na ang kanang uban sa P2P( like limewire ug uban pa..) na MP3's, games, software, movies and files are shared illegally. pila ang download nimo kda adlaw..

sakto.. i dont think anybody here is not guilty of piracy, directly or indirectly in one way or another.Originally Posted by dongi
Again, you still don't get it. Do you know why we categorize the killing of a human being as either manslaughter, homicide, or murder? Upholding the law means knowing the words, the right terms, the right definitions. All these little details means a whole lot when you are in a court of law. It means the difference between 5 years in prison and reclusion perpetua.Originally Posted by Spec-V
