I'm sorry to say, but my husband was once a victim with this type of scam. It was too late when he realized that they were lying to him so he decided to contact the representative and asked to get his money back, they told him that the person has just left the company and after a long and agonizing process, my husband was able to get some of his money back.

Thank you so much for posting this topic. It is really very helpful to anyone who's been thinking to try.

I agree... if these companies were not into pyramiding, why are they no longer around. some have even changed names already...

i hope they changed their marketing plans as well.

And to emphasize, any company that makes money through recruitment and through maintaining a monthly point/amount is pyramiding for me.

Daghan gyud dinha bro. pero mostly forever living na sila. and it is one of the businesses that still exists now.

sakto ka, that is the basic principle of a pyramid strategy. It is a scam gyud.

there musn't be any monthly maintaining fees/ balance/purchases. there must not be any quotas... there must not be any money made in recruitment. guba na kaayo ang networking. hahahaha

Not really. It's pyramiding if the main source of profit is from recruitment, but if it's based on product movement, then it's not, it's legit. A good example is FLP, it's top distributors still earn even though they're not inviting people to join the business anymore.

I won't be surprised if pyramid schemes or "quick-rich" schemes will surface out once again, it's going in that direction once again.
