Nursing? not an option anymore..
IT because technology never stops evolving and so your knowledge.. greater opportunities to work..here and abroad although you have to get some certifications like CISCO, CCNT
for me.. IT kay IT baya ku,.. haha.. dghan pajud fields ang IT..

I recommend IT so you can develop more on the current technologies today. Having said that, you have more job opportunities since the industry is moving toward modernization, thus more money for yourself, your friends, and the society. It is the best option rather than sticking to the same traditional and manual approach of jobs where some of their advancements are actually developed by an IT professional.
Nurses work mainly on hospitals (aside from call centers). IT professionals is flexible--can work on non-medical matters on the hospital and other leading industries.
It actually depends on your field of interest. If you like more on the medical side, then choose nursing. You may excel on that field better than IT.

Finally, when I was trying to choose a course for my college, I cam across computer-related courses. My top-choices are: IT, Computer Engineering, and CS. Since I am more inclined to engineering stuffs, I chose Computer Engineering--and here is what I have found out so far:
Computer Engineering, for me, is a combination of CS, IT, and ECE put all together with more specialization on inventions. CompE contains programming (especially assembly!) and other programming languages which is contained on CS. CompE contains Software Engineering which is contained in IT. And finally, the distinction of CompE from other computer-related courses, is the digital counterpart which is the primary foundation of modern technologies today.
If you like inventions, go for CompE instead.
