Sis, why sa mga saints pa? why not Jesus Christ agad? mahirap ba yun? He is greater than saints, God said:

Can you tell me some verses in the Bible that encourages us to pray through saints? please give me some verses and i would be delighted to read it and understand it. Thanks po.

FYI David, the Catholic church doesn't force people to ask for intercession from saints. Its really up to the faithful. You can go directly to Jesus even if you're Catholic, no problem with that.

at sino naman ang nagsabi na hinde pwede deretso kay christ?.. its our own choice, baka d mo alam na ang mga saints nagdarasal din cla.. lolzzzzz

FYI David, the Catholic church doesn't force people to ask for intercession from saints. Its really up to the faithful. You can go directly to Jesus even if you're Catholic, no problem with that.

The church is not forcing people but somehow a lot of people are practicing it. sa mga fiestas, at ang daming mga idols ng mga saints where people bow down, kiss, and they even worship it. can your church do something about it? as what i have said can you tell me some verses in the Bible that encourages us to pray through saints? please give me some verses and i would be delighted to read it and understand it. I didnt say hindi pwede dumeretso kay Christ, I am encouraging nga to go directly. And, yes saints do pray kasi they are the same like us, they're humans like us. They do pray to Jesus Christ, same like us.

bro davies, it depends po sa nagpray... we Catholics are not required to course thru our prayers.
ako nga when i prayed alone i prayed directly to Jesus.... but most of the time during group prayer, (like my family, we pray together) we will course it thru...
