ei, maayong adlaw!!! here's one of my pics taken @ dalaguete.. naa ko problem lagi.. unsaon man pag-take ug clear kaayo nga shot. it's like my camera is so useless or maybe ang user rai dili kama-o... got lots of "nice" shots for me lng ha.. but then not as clear/sharp as other photos.. huhuh... i'm open for your comments and suggestions..

i'm using canon ixus 60 (6.0 megapixels).

@alexa - did you process the photo in photoshop or some other software? photos are usually "soft" straight from the camera even if its a dslr. you have to adjust contrast and sharpness a bit. you'll be surprised at the difference between the original and the processed photo.

@alexa - i like this picture, a little cropping lang siguro and it will make a big difference. pero murag unusually pink ang picture (maybe sa ako lang monitor). most point and shoot cameras are set with sharpness at a higher level, so it could be your camera that has a problem kay most of the P&S cams i've used they are sharp right out of the camera. pero pwede sad sa imo pag-take sa pics mismo ang problema. gamay mana ang ixus, its prone to camera shake kung pasagad lang kag shoot. you just have to practice and practice... if you dont mind shooting using the tiny optical viewfinder of your camera use it, mas stable ang pagshoot nimo compared to stretching out your arm when taking the picture.

@edwin_sn - yup camera shake jud lagi. i got a canon A310 mas stable pa ug shot kay sa ixus. anyway, the pink color sa picture. i always use Manual mode sa akong camera then ushay play with other functions i remmber using the vivid color and set it to evaluate the white balance.. mao cguro na ang result but other pics wala man.. other shots in dalaguete are in this sites:

so far, kaila njud ko sa akong camera.. lingaw nlng pud kai ko ug take ug pics.. but sumtyms i use SLR.

i like the picture. Composition is good and the colours are very rich. Was the water really that blue? or was it cos of CP used? or was it PPed?

I don't usually do any PP simply because I'm kinda lazy. I also don't use a CP on any of my lenses. For this pic I might've done a little bit of brightness reduction and USM and that's about it. And yeah, this time of the year the lake can be very blue. Thanks for the comment.
