no problem with the E.O. cos i think it protects the local manufacturer. Honda as what i've heard, lagot gyud sila ani kay affected gyud ila sales sa jazz. laliman kag makapalit nakag 3 ka fit for the price of 1 jazz!

my beef is with LTO trying to go after the poor consumers nga way idea og unsay legit og dili when these units are plainly displayed and have proper LTO docs.

you have to look at the bigger picture. just because local manufacturer have no BB, Cube, etc. does it mean that dili affected ang local manufacturer. potential customers gihapon na nila bisan to-od wala silay pareha nga unit diri. imbis naay mupalit og Mitsubishi Mirage, adto nalang sila sa surplus nga Colt or maybe a BB or a cube kay same category raman ni sila mga 1.3 or 1.4 class nga mga compact cars. but anyway, subject to debate gihapon na istoryaha.

kung papili-on ko, mas ok pa ang makina/parts sa mga surplus compared to locally sold cars with the same year model kay di pa kaayu bun-og, limpyo pa ang makina. nindot man sad gud ang condition sa dan sa japan nya mag ilis pud sila og sakyanan every 5 years (?) if i'm not mistaken.

sa klarohay lang gyud pagkastorya based sad sa akong experience, products that are being sold inside japan had a very high quality grade than products sold outside nga gipang out source lang to save production costs.....mao nag maka ingon ta nga mas lig-on gyud ang mga surplus cars nga gikan sa japan compared sa atong local units, in the first place kung legal lang gyud unta ilang pag ship padung sa atong country (wa gi chop2x or gi declare as spare parts) paid the Right Exact Taxes sa customs smooth ra gyud unta kaayo, pero di sad sila kapresyo ug ingon ana kabarato kung mu-agi sila sa saktong proseso di ba? mao na kung papili-on ko ug unit nga gikan japan ug local unit, adto ko mupili sa japan uy, kadakong deperensya sa quality...kamo mismo mga surplus owners maka obserbar gyud mo sa deperensya...

I had a japanese businessman friend once nga iyang building A/C`s are all imported from japan local units, I asked him why? nga naa may locally available nga mga units of the same brand deretso ra mapalit without hassles, mao ni iyang tubag, units/products sold inside japan very good quality standards, units sold outside japan very poor quality standards hehehe, based sad sa akong mga obserbasyon sa iyang mga units, mostly 13-15 years na buhi lang gihapon while the outsourced units of the same brand only last 6-7 years........

Regardless of our individual views on the EO, its the law!
Personally, i think its an anti poor eo, but sc has spoken...
We all know theres still a lot of loop holes to exploit (ex. Palusot sa lto) but in the end were just fooling ourselves..
Since we know dili pwede, lets not force d issue... Save yurself from all the hassle, problems and most importantly yur money...
-jst on my 2 cents on the ban issue...
