yup, me too. most of the times kay contact nalang ko ni john kay boringog kaayo ang taga manila, dugay ka "G". mao siya nalang akong e inform if there shall be problems kay im sure usa ra ka command niya, tuman dayon na sila og dili magpadugaydugay..

anyway, funny to say, the manila technical just called me this afternoon asking if my line is okay already... they should have called and monitored me before when the problem was still fresh due to i was the only one who fixed up my line because i have seen that the problem was their DNSs, both were faulty that cause my line not to tripped off most of the times on droptests, and some disconnections. the cebu technicals really checked my line in detailed to trace the problem but failed to discover any, changed my busted modem, and even reinforced the connections of the dropwire cables...later i found out that its their DNSs. luckily, i have been saving the previous DNSs that they have given to my attendants so what I did was switching DNSs to find some luckily stable ones.

some veco personnels also are my badluck due to most of the times, they are the ones who hassled the dropwire cables in my line..they should be more careful when fixing on posts.. because even a second downtime of my connection is already a big failure and lost in my part.

dili ka secretary, chief secretary lang

    ah kaila nako nimo bro.....heheheh!
anyway,DNS resides on different servers perhaps those dns that were given to u kay fully loaded na. lesser na ang cpu free time so it really pays to have noted lot of dns addresses.also minimize continiuous pinging the bayantel dns ip to free up the cpu. that's what i understand when i asked john regarding ur concern.
and bro, ask john kung kinsa ko....
    dili lagi ko secretary...

If you're just an ordinary customer, how come you have some technical knowledge about their service. I used to work in bayantel before and I can assure you guys that customer support is very good. We see to it that all customer's concern are acted upon immediately.

But I agree with Chipmunk that some technical support personnel needs to upgrade their knowledge. Especially now that technology is changing so fast, it would be difficult to troubleshoot if they dont know anything about this new tech and the new equipment that goes with it.

brod, bayantel has its own network. i think its 2x10Gbps already. mas nindut gani na clag network sa uban. ang uban telco didto nikuha ni bayantel. kaso lang for cebu, corporate/business si bayantel so its a little bit expensive however, its worth your money. especially kung internet dependent inyong business.

Nakapa demo ko og bayantel para sa akong internet cafe kay na down man to akong PLDT. 15 days ila demo 1.5mb corporate something to. Grabe ka stable ila connection. D jod ma dc d pareha sa PLDC este PLDT. Pero wa nko dayuna kay medyo mahal man compare to PLDT. Dayon ang nakaapan lng pag abot sa online games hinay man cya ambot ngano. Example magduwa kag DOTA sa GG Client, Kng akong connection bayantel dayon akong kaduwa PLDT mo lag og au ang duwa. Apil sa uban online games medyo hinay ang bayantel. Pero internet browsing and downloads ok kaayo cya.
