when i go wandering into unknown areas of this horrid earth, i make sure i know what to expect, and have the tools to deal with what is expected and UNexpected... sure, something like this can happen to anyone, but i'd doubt if any of these two had any idea how to handle an encounter with a bear.

and good question by many of the previous posts... what were they doing in the woods?
