    Yes! Excellent!

It is indeed The Pirates of the Carribean. The Indiana Jones Ride however was created after the movie thus it can't by Indi. Johnny Depp garnered a Best Actor nomination for the Oscars for his role as Capt. Jack Sparrow in the first installment.

How about answering my first trivia.

As to which characters found in the Bible was the basis of Joe Ruby and Ken Spears inspiration for the characters in the cartoon series (later adopted into a movie) Scooby-Doo. The 5 main characters represents these Bible characters.

Basically, yes. Most of the info I posted about JLA were taken from Wikipedia (though not all). I also tried to check on DC Comics and unofficial sites. However, as the word unofficial, it bears little if not no weight at all. And you are correct to say that comics do vary depending on publication date. However, the official statistics and history still remain that Martian Manhunter is the tallest of the original JLA members based on records. Thanks for the clarrification.

    More MOVIE TRIVIA:

This is the prequel of a very popular horror-suspense flick that also garnered Oscar nominations (the original). The prequel however failed to generate as much interest as the original (don't they all?). This prequel primarily starred by a Filipino-American actor-singer in a major role. However, after the primary movie was done and viewed by the producers, they insisted to change it for being "not scarry enough". They changed the director and the writer and made another version. After the second version of the prequel, the producers were satisfied but this version no longer includes the Fil-Am actor-singer and had an african-american(?) to take his role.

What is the complete title of the movie?

    Still more...

This movie is about the notorious Jack the Ripper whose true identity still mystifies a lot of historians. As there were already a lot of movies or books about this prostitute-murdering character, this latest offer was based on the view of one his victims, Mary Kelly. It starred Brokeback Mountain's Heath Ledger.

What is the title of this movie?

    And more...

What is the title of this Walt Disney animation whose lead character's features (like the hair color) were based on another famous biblical character, Mary of Magdala or Mary Magdalene? Though the makers didn't officially said it as it is, however, there are various similarities and suggestions that would directly link this character to the "other Mary". The plot of this movie is basically about love and how it conquers adversities. The original story of this fairy tale however is a tragedy. Nevertheless, the producers changed the ending to make it more appealing to children and make the line "and they lived happily ever after" (as like most fairy tales end) applicable. There is even a popular statue erected in Copenhagen, Denmark (not so sure about the location) that honors this Hans Christian Anderson character.

    More on Scooby-Doo Trivia....

These Bible characters were also the basis of a certain group of villains in the Marvel animation and were often seen battling the Professor X's X-Men.

Ok, at least we got that sorted out.

    klavel:

Correct again. It is indeed Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid. Various suggestive scenes have it that Ariel is basically influenced by Mary Magdalene and the most obvious similarity is the red hair.

Mary of Magdala has been viewed as the powerful metaphor for the plight of the "Sacred Feminine" over the last several thousand years of western civilization. She has been systematically devalued and made diminutive, relegated into the watery depths of our unconscious (like Ariel, the seventh of seven sisters), controlled and patronized by the "benevolent" patriarchy (Ariel's father, King Triton, in the Disney movie). Ariel's face is dark, like that of the Bride in the Song of Songs (1:5), "swarthy" from her labor in her brothers' vineyards. And she has long wavy red hair, a commonly held attribute of Mary Magdalene.

In her cave under the ocean, Ariel collects artifacts from Spanish galleons shipwrecked at sea. She examines the commonplace items used by humans and wonders what they are for and what it would be like to be human. Among her treasures is a painting by Georges de la Tour called "Magdalen with the Smoking Flame." Mary is gazing at a candle burning on the table beside her. In the film, Ariel tries to pluck the flame out of the picture.

Of all the possible pictures available from art galleries around the world, it is incredibly significant that the directors of the Disney® film chose to place Mary Magdalene at the bottom of the sea, for it is SHE who represents the lost Bride and the archetype of the "Sacred Feminine" as partner in Christian mythology. She also represents the Church as Bride and was recognized as the model for "ekklesia" by the early Christian fathers -- the "beloved community" redeemed by Christ. In this connection, it is almost uncanny that the little mermaid is called Ariel, for Ariel is a synonym for Jerusalem, the Holy City besieged (see Isaiah 29:1-. Either the use of these symbols was deliberate on the part of the directors of the film, or it rose spontaneously from the depths of their unconscious and was intuited to be appropriate!

Carl Jung speaks of the condition of the patriarchy at the end of the age when its energy has been spent and it is no longer able to uphold the "establishment" it has built over the millennia. The "masculine" suffers burnout. Jung calls it the "enantiodromia." At some point, the feminine rises and returns to lend her strength and for a period the two are reconciled and unite to forge a new cultural "thrust" for the next age. It is time now for the "sacred feminine" to reemerge to play her role in the waning hours of the Age of Pisces, for her "prince" can't be whole without her!

    To the Scooby-Doo Trivia...

I guess nobody has an idea on this. Let me share it to you then. It is quite common for creators (cartoons included) to have their characters inspired from other forms of literature, the Bible even. Joe Ruby and Ken Spears also got their inspiration in the Bible when they created the main characters of the animation series Scooby-Doo.

It was also the inspiration of the group of villain lead by Apocalypse in the animation "The X-Men". Apocalypse has his "The Horsemen of Apocalypse". The Horsemen of Apocalypse are a team of fictional supervillains in the Marvel Universe that serve the ancient mutant Apocalypse as his personal strikeforce. The horsemen are always given the same names: Death, Famine, Pestilence, and War.

While Apocalypse has altered and empowered a number of individuals to serve him, such as Ozymandias, Exodus, Mister Sinister, or Moses Magnum and has also employed other teams such as the Alliance of Evil and the Dark Riders. The Four Horsemen remain as Apocalypse's main followers.

All of Apocalypse's horsemen are alpha-level mutants.

The first modern Horseman recruited by Apocalypse was Plague, a member of the Morlocks, whom he recruited during the Mutant Massacre to fill the role of Pestilence. He then approached ex-soldier Abraham Kieros and granted him the position of War. Autumn Rolfson was Apocalypse's third choice and was given the position of Famine. Apocalypse then saved the dewinged Angel from his sabotaged, exploding plane and chose him to be his fourth and final Horseman, Death.

In Scooby-Doo, the main characters were also characterized from this Biblical characters. Fred, having the appearance of brute resembles WAR. Daphne, being slim resembles FAMINE. Velma, always letting her head rule over her heart resembles DEATH. Shaggy, always looking crampy and gives the appearance of not having a shower resembles PESTILENCE. And lastly, Scooby-Doo is the THE BEAST (The Devil) himself. Do I need to elaborate more?

You mean Superman 4: Quest for peace (that flop ......) (but didn't affect the late Chris Reeves' carreer.....my respect for the guy!)
I'm not so sure but I guess the villain is called Nuclear Man by Lexy.....

    Ok I'm right here's from Yahoo! :
Superman has recognized at last the greatest threat to humanity, and he is out to rid the world of nuclear weapons. But Lex Luthor, now a nuclear arms entrepreneur, creates Nuclear Man--a solar-powered Kryptonia Android and genetic clone whose powers equal (and potentially surpass) those of Superman--to rid the world of the Man of Steel.
