first of all, how did you "comprehend" my statement: atheism for me was a personal choice.
diha palang dagway, ni simang naka. thats why i refuse to take you seriously.

...then, definition of terms. your definitions bout atheism and theism epic fail na. thats why i'm better off if somebody provided those. you seem to eager and die-hard to pin satanism and atheism as one.

I am not an Atheist nor a Dogmatist (Fanatic) but rather I am a Seeker and Critical Thinker like Leonardo da Vinci who is curious and questions a lot and demonstrates knowledge in the laboratory called LIFE.

I am a believer and human at the same time, believing that there is GOD in my spiritual life, and adhering to Science in my Physical life................

I for almost 20 years stepped outside of church dogma, 12 years of that I was absolutely militant against church dogma. I during that time read the text of most major world religions as to try to understand the philosophies which effected peoples that I knew. Through that journey I discovered the similarities between these religions and the people. Even if you are a dogmatic Christian researching other religions and beliefs will make you a more tolerant well rounded being, and a better citizen of the world.

There are members here who are genuinely interested in the Atheist dogma, I just hope members will settle down where this can be a productive tool for these members.

errr, what dogma are you referring about james?
atheists dont have hive minds unlike its counterpart james...if you observe clearly, atheists themselves disagree on lot of things...the only common thing about atheists is the absence of belief towards any GOD/s(including their respective anti-heroes).

safe to say, atheists disbelieve GOD/s in a variety of levels, varies per person.

    there are no dogmas.

    Atheism liberates you from delusions.

I think that there are basically two questions the TS is asking. The first is, what are the reasons for the atheist point of view? And the second is, how has this point of view affected the atheist's life and also how is it influencing the way he or she is living his/ her life?

I think this is indeed a great opportunity for learning. I for one want to understand atheism.

Hello. Do you consider atheism as a sort of religion?

I'm an atheist in that sense.. but I'm also monotheistic.. not in the sense that I believe in this supernatural god, but because I have a different idea of god, and its very "mono"-theistic.. no hocus-pocus, no dogmas, no doctrines.. but I remain a naturalist/scientist/rationalist with respect to everything in nature and/or universe..
    Hello sir.

I'm interested in what you just said. It seems you're saying that you are an atheist in that you do not believe that there is such a being as a supernatural god. Yet you also said that you are a theist, that you subscribe to the view of monotheism, in that you have an idea of a kind of god. Is that what you mean?

I wonder how you would reconcile your atheism and your theism?
