di man siguro ma-cleanup ang bad sectors bro just by formatting. gituyo na mark ug bad sector para dili na gamiton sa OS or any program. formatting to remove bad sectors would defeat the purpose of marking a particular part of a hard disk as bad, magka problema na hinuon if ma-corrupt imo files.
I dont think advisable mag cge reformat sa imong PC bsan walay problema... NONSENSE!
even me kung naay problema sa akong PC..like virus or corrupted files.. dli nako e reformat.. mangita kog way nga ma remove ang problema.. last resort na ang reformat.
coz hassle naa kaayo.. update drivers, install nsad mga applications..
Unless kung imong PC, office ra ug YM naka install ok kaayo cge reformat.. bsan pa kada adlaw..

hmm.. i never reformat unless upgrade hardware![]()

Reasons why magreformat ko:
-i found new interesting OS or a new version of my current Linux OS
-virus or malwares na dili naku kaya iremove
-OS trouble na dili naku kaya ifix
-ug kanang dili naku ka sulod sa OS bisan pa irestore to previous working condition
number of times: maybe 2x or 3x a year
question: is it possible to mark bad sectors without reformatting the drive?
its my last resort.
performance degradation usually caused by fragmentation (assuming the system is clean and has a good rig).
if virus seems hard to be removed
Reformat is my last option.. kapoy og buildup balik sa installation files.
